Visa requirements for Vietnam for Cuba citizen
The Cuba citizens are required a visa to travel to Vietnam for purposes of tourism, business, family visit or study. Those transiting at Vietnam's airport and not crossing immigration area do not need the visa. Besides, Phu Quoc's visitors are exempted from visa if staying no more than 30 days. This is just applicable for those who travel to Phu Quoc Island only, not go to other parts of Vietnam.
Vietnamese government allows Cuba citizens to obtain the visa in 2 ways:
1. Apply in person/by post/by email at the nearest Vietnam Embassy/Consulate
Step 1: Complete application form on website of embassies
Step 2: Submit the application form, original passport, 01 passport-sized photo, visa fee at the embassy
Step 3: Obtain visa at embassy after 3-5 business days.

2. Apply online for visa approval in order to be granted visa stamp on arrival at AIRPORT
Step 1: Fill out visa application form online
Step 2: Pay application fee with credit/debit card
Step 3: Receive visa approval via email within less than 2 business days
Step 4: Pay stamping fee (USD 25 for single entry visa, USD 45 for multiple entry visa) and show the letter at airport to obtain visa stamp.
NOTE: visa upon arrival is applicable for air entry only. If you cross the border into Vietnam by land or sea, please get full visa stamp at embassy before departing for Vietnam as guided

- - Apply for the visa as early as possible to avoid unexpected administrative problems
- - Make sure your passport has at least 6 months validity remaining
- - Do not have a flight booking or hotel reservation until you obtain a visa
