Vietnam visa requirements for Italian citizens

Under the regulations on Vietnam visa of Immigration Department, all Italians are required a visa for a short stay in Vietnam. Otherwise, you are not allowed to enter Vietnam. Therefore, it is recommended that you should prepare yourself information on how to obtain a visa for Vietnam from Italy.

1. Submit application at Vietnam Embassy

* General visa requirements:

- Application form associated with a passport-sized photo

- A valid passport with at least one blank page left

- Visa fee (in cash)

In specific case, the embassy could request more documents. Nevertheless, do not submit suporting papers if you are not asked to.

The Vietnam visa fee are not public on website of embassy of Vietnam. Therefore, you need to ask directly the staff of consular section 

Processing time of a Vietnam visa application ranges from 3-5 working days.
