Vietnam entry visa requirements

Apart from nationals of 16 countries that in Vietnam visa exemption list, all foreigners are required a visa for their entry into Vietnam.

Passport requirements for entry: Your current passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months prior to date of arrival and has at least 01 blank page

*   General requirements to apply for Vietnam visa at Vietnam embassies

-  Visa application form (available at the embassies)

-  Original passport

-  01 passport photo (no more than 6 months old)

-  Vietnam visa fee

*   Requirements to apply for Vietnam visa on arrival: Vietnam visa on arrival is a kind of visa that is applied online but picked up at arrival airport. 

-  Enter Vietnam by air

-  Visa application form (complete online here)

-  Visa processing fee (See Vietnam visa cost)

When the process is completed, you will receive a visa approval letter issued by Immigration Department to enter Vietnam and pick up the visa at arrival airport. The stamping process at the airport will require the following documents:

-  Printed visa approval letter

-  Orginal passport

-  01 passport photograph

-  Entry and exit form (available on our website)

-  Stamping fee: USD 45 for single entries, USD 65 for 1 month multiple entry, USD 95 for 3 month multiple entry.
