Vietnam business visa for Indians

Many Indians come to Vietnam to find business opportunities and conduct business. To do that, they must have a proper business visa first. Although the business visa for Vietnam is valid for up to 1 year, the maximum period of visa validity that the Indians can request is 3 months. The visa validity the duration of the tentative travel date shown in the application until the visa expires.

Get business visa at embassy/consulate

Information related to visa service is not made public on the site of the Vietnam Embassy in India. The applicants are supposed to contact the embassy office directly for the visa procedure.. Normally, an application includes the following papers:

The processing time required for the embassy/consulate to issue Vietnam business visa is 5 business days counting from the date you submit the application and full payment.

Get business visa on arrival

This option is much preferred today for its high success rate and hassle-free procedure. To apply, the Indian nationals simply scan the passport page containing personal data and send it to support@vietnamvisa-easy.com. Please state the expected date of arrival and type of visa you want in the email. Shortly after the email is sent, you will receive a secure link for paying the application fee. After the processing is done, a visa approval will be delivered to your email with an entry-exit form. In theory, you have permission to visit Vietnam. In other words, you already obtained the visa. It’s just not attached to your passport yet. It is waiting for you on arrival

At arrival airport, you are instructed to submit visa approval, origin passport, 01 passport photo, and entry-exit form to Immigration Officer. Then give him some minutes to check the documents. Next, pay stamping fee (by cash, in USD or VND) and collect the visa stamp.

As the immigration officer does not require visitors to prove the purpose of their trip, many Indian businessmen select a tourist visa for their very short business trip to save money. If you plan to stay in Vietnam for more than 1 week, it is best to apply for a proper business visa.
