Directions to get Vietnam visa for Indian nationals

Before entering Vietnam for any purposes, the Indian nationals must obtain an entry visa.  The following is important information about getting visa to Vietnam that the Indians should know.

Vietnam visa for Indians is obtainable before departure and on arrival depending on the way you enter Vietnam.

If you enter Vietnam by air, Vietnam visa on arrival is available for you. All you have to do is just filling out the visa application form on our website and making the payment using credit/debit card. After the application and payment are confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email from us informing that your visa application is being processed and will be completed within 1-2 business days.  When the process is done, we will send to your email a visa approval letter, which grants you permission to enter Vietnam and pick up the visa at the airport.

When landing at Vietnam’s airport, you just need to submit your valid passport, print copy of the letter, completed entry and exit form (this form is available on our website), 01 passport photo and stamping fee to get visa stamp. Within 10-15 minutes, you will get a visa stamped.

If you enter the country by land or sea, there is alternative option for you. That is submitting Vietnam visa application at Vietnam Embassy and collecting the visa after 3 business days. The commonly requested documents include:

-    Original passport valid for at least 6 months in advance of travel date

-    Visa application form attached with 01 passport sized photo

-    Visa fee

Notices:

-    Apply for the visa at least 2 weeks before your intended travel date

-    Always check for error on the application form before submitting and on the visa after collecting

-    Visa for Vietnam can be granted for single and multiple entry.

-    Vietnam visa validity begins from the estimated date of entry into Vietnam that you input in the application form, not from the date you apply for the visa
