Price and procedure of Vietnam visa for Mauritian

Getting a visa is a must for all Mauritian travelers visiting Vietnam. You will probably ask how to get the visa while Vietnam hasn’t established an embassy/consulate in the country. That’s very reason why we are composing this post, to help you apply for the visa to Vietnam from Mauritius.

Select appropriate visa

In order to select the most suitable visa type, the 3 following questions should be answered: Purpose of the visit, length of the trip and number of entry.

 If you need a tourist visa, there are 4 options to select:

• 1 month single
• 1 month multiple
• 3 months single
• 3 months multiple

1 month/3 months refers to authorized period of visa validity and single/multiple is allowed number of entries during visa validity.

Make application

Once you have decided the best visa for your trip, email to [email protected] to make application. In the email, please attach a passport copy, provide expected travel date and wanted visa type. Shortly after the email was sent, you will receive a confirmation about receipt of application.

Pay visa fee

 The accepted payment methods are: 

• Pay through a secure link with credit/debit card
• Send money via Western Union
• Transfer money to our Vietnamese bank
• Cash

Explanation:

Processing fee is our charges to arrange approval from Immigration Department. The waiting time for approval is 2-3 business days. If you wish to get it urgently in 1 day, the extra fee for rush service is USD 30.

Stamping fee is the amount you must pay directly by cash at arrival airport to have visa sticker on the passport.

Get approval letter

An official letter of approval always includes your passport information, visa validity and number of entry. We are well known for punctual so if you do not receive the approval in your email box by specified date, please kindly check your spam folder before contacting us. Keep in mind that entry/exit date is flexible. You are permitted to visit and exit Vietnam anytime while the visa is valid.

Collect visa on arrival

The stamping procedure at every international airport of Vietnam is the same. Whichever airport you land at, you will receive the visa with our approval. Make sure the following papers are ready before you reaching landing visa counter at airport:

• Origin passport valid for at least 6 months. You are likely to be denied boarding if your passport has shorter validity
• Print copy of approval
• 01 passport-sized color photo taken against white background within the last 6 months
• Completed entry-exit form (instructions on how to fill out immigration form)

• Stamping fee

Estimated time for the procedure is 15 minutes. It can be slower or quicker depending on length of the queue in front of the visa counter.
