Vietnam Visa on Arrival

Visa on arrival (VOA) is a lawful and legal method to achieve a visa to visit Vietnam. Through a travel/visa agent as a third party, your application will be processed to the Immigration Department. If succeed, an approval letter will be issued allowing your entry into the country. At the arrival airport, collect the real visa with this letter.

GET THE APPOVAL

Step 1: Make application via email

Iraqi passport holders are required to send below details:
• The scanned photo of your passport which contains your personal data
• Best-estimated date of arrival
• Name of arrival airport

Step 2: Make payment online

• We will send a link for payment to you. Use your credit/debit card to pay the processing fee.
• We offer the fee for Iraqi applicants for visa one-month single entry visa for $135. This is the only available visa for Iraqi citizens.
• Only when the payment is made successfully, your application starts to get processed. In case the result is rejection, money will be transferred back to your account.

Step 3: Receive approval

Within 5 to 7 business days, an approval letter issued by Immigration Dept. will be sent to your email.

After receiving approval letter, check several times for any error, if there is get back to us for correction as soon as possible.

Step 4: Collect visa stamp

Now you have already obtained the approval. The next step is to get visa stamp at either arrival airport (in Vietnam) or embassy of Vietnam (nearest to where you are living or staying). It happens that some airlines require their Middle East passengers to get full visa stamp before boarding. Thus, to be safe, we highly recommend you checking up with the airlines you are flying with about this issue BEFORE starting application. If they refuse boarding with approval, you have no choice except for getting the visa at embassy. We will issue a special approval to help you receive visa from embassy/consulate. In your application, please kindly let us know the nearest Vietnamese embassy/consulate to your place so that we could cooperate with them in granting the visa.

GET VISA ON ARRIVAL

Use this approval letter to enter Vietnam and get the real visa stamp on your passport. At the airport, submit:

• Your original passport
• Printed copy of letter
• 01 passport-sized photo (photo taken against white background, no hat, no glasses, straight face.)
• Completed entry-exit form (sent with the letter)

At Landing visa/Visa upon arrival desk/counter.

Stamping fees: single entry - $25 and only CASH accepted.

In conclusion, you will have to pay:

NOTE: 

• Middle –East countries are not able to apply on our online system, including Iraq. Only via email, your application will be processed.
• With tourist visa, a sponsor is not required. Business visa applicants must obtain a sponsor from your Vietnamese business partner. Contact us for further information on particular case.
• Iraqi citizens are granted visa-free stay at Phu Quoc special economic zone for 30 days.
• Visa on arrival is only usable for travelers to Vietnam by air.

Get visa at embassy

The embassy of Vietnam in Iraq is not authorized to grant visa for local citizens as its service. However, you can receive visa stamp which is pre-arranged and pre-approved by Vietnam Immigration Department visa a travel agent at the nearest Embassy of Vietnam.

Print out the letter with the code and bring it to the embassy together with:

• Your original passport
• 01 passport-sized photo (photo taken against white background, no hat, no glasses, straight face.)
• Completed entry-exit form (the form was sent with the letter)
• Stamping fee. According to the law, stamping fee for single entry is $25 but do bring more money on you in case the embassy asks for extra fee.
