Vietnam Airlines has two new int'l routes
The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has announced that two new international routes: Danang-Seoul (Korea) and Danang-Siem Reap (Cambodia) will be officially offered from July 1st.
Accordingly, Danang- Seoul route’s frequency is 3 trips/per week on Monday, Thursday and Saturday by aircraft Airbus A321. The flights will depart from Danang city at 00.05 am and from Seoul at 09.30 am (local time) with 4 hour flying time for departure flight and 5 hours for the return flight.
Danang-Siem Reap route has a daily flight taking off at 2.10 pm from Danang city and 5.15 pm from Siem Reap (local time) by aircraft ATR-72. Flying time is 2 hours and twenty-five minutes.
On this occasion, Vietnam Airlines offers a big fare promotion to customers.
In detail, the return ticket price of Danang-Seoul and Danang-Siem Reap routes respectively is VND 5,940,000 and 1,738,000 (excluding taxes, surcharge, fees), almost 50% discount over the normal price.
The promotion runs from now until December 31st, 2013.
The flights from Danang to Seoul and Danang to Siem Reap play a supplementary role to each other, which helps diversify products, create favorable conditions for Korean customers to Central Vietnam and thereby easily operate routes to Cambodia.
Together with 4 current routes linking Vietnam and Korea from Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh city and 3 routes to Cambodia exploited by Vietnam Airlines, the new routes will be an efficient connection to promote commercial intercourse, economic cooperation, culture, tourism between Vietnam in particular and CLMV sub-region (Cambodia, Lao, Vietnam, Myanmar) in general with Northeast Asia region.
