Thang Long Water Puppet Theater sets Asian record

Thang Long Water Puppet Theater was honored for the record of the only theater performing continually 365 days a year.

Thang Long Water Puppet Theater was established in 1969 and overcame many tough periods when traditional art genres gradually sank into oblivious.

In 1990, Thang Long Water Puppet Theater decided to invest for puppetry recovery and performances for domestic and foreign visitors.

At first, Thang Long Water Puppet Theater organized weekly and monthly periodic performances only. Currently, more and more tourists know about water puppet due to its creativeness, distinction. The frequency of performances and revenue of theater get higher year by year.
