New sightseeing fee in Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long

Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has organized a conference on implementing Decision No. 2269/2013/QĐ-UBND by People’s Committee dated 30th August 2013 on regulating the ticket price for Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long sightseeing.                                                    

At the conference, representatives of Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism diffused provincial decision, specific content about prices to visit Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long.

Accordingly, the Decision comes into effect from 1st January 2014, available for tourists who visit the bay, and visit or stay overnight at destinations in the bay.

In detail, the tourists in Halong bay and Bai Tu Long have to buy common sightseeing ticket ranging from VND 80,000 to VND 120,000/pax/arrival and then buy entrance tickets for each destination. At the same time, the Decision also stated to provide free entry for those who have contributions to the country's revolutions and children under 7 years old, 50% discount will be given for children from 7 to 15 years old, the elderly(70 years olds and above), the poor, the disabled.
