Entrance fee increase delayed in Cao Bang

Responding to Tourism Stimulation Program in 2013, tourist destinations in Cao Bang such as Pac Bo Special National Relic, Thang Hen Lake ecotourism area will not increase ticket prices for sightseeing. In particular, Ban Gioc waterfall and Nguom Ngao grotto will postpone the fare increase approved before by the end of 2013.                                   

Aside from delayed entrance fee increase, travel agents will build and organize new good-quality programs, tours and promote advertisement, extensive marketing, special promotion offers at the same time to stimulate tourism. The province also encourages travel agents, hotels, restaurants, tourist areas to give a discount for accommodation, dining service and entrance fare during cultural-sport events, conferences, seminars taking place in the province.

In order to increase the tourist arrivals to Cao Bang up to 520,000 this year and reach 18% tourism growth, Cao Bang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will coordinate with printing units to release 6,000 tourism publications in 3 languages” Vietnamese, Chinese, English with the main content about tours, restaurants, hotels, service, prices…

At the same time, the province will complete the perfection of Cao Bang’s tourism website at address: dulichnonnuoccaobang.com.vn.

Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will maintain appraisal and reappraisal of standard accommodation, provide tourism publications to create favorable conditions for enterprises and tourist to access information.

In addition, tourist attractions have to improve service quality, ensure security and safety for tourists. Every bad behavior affecting to the image of tourism is prohibited such as following tourists, inviting insistently, overcharge, hassling, fraud…>
