Vietnam tourist visa for Iranian cititzens

Citizens of Iran wishing to travel to Vietnam must obtain a visa in advance date of arrival. Because Vietnam visa on arrival is not available for Iranian citizens, you have no way but apply for a Vietnam tourist visa for Iranian at Vietnam Embassy at:

Office hours: 09.00 – 12.00 and 14.00 – 16.00 (Sunday to Thursday)

Generally, you are asked to submit:

-  Visa application form attached with 01 passport-sized photo

-  Original passport valid for at least 6 months prior to date of arrival

-  Invitation letter from sponsor or partner in Vietnam

-  Visa approval from Vietnam Immigration Department obtained by your sponsor

-  Vietnam visa fee

-  Return air ticket

On special case, you may be requested to provide supporting documents. Therefore, it’s best for you to contact with the embassy in advance to know exactly what documents you must prepare for Vietnam visa application.

The process will need at least 7 working days to be completed. You should not make a telephone inquery on the status of your visa application before 7 days.

If you are afraid to apply at the embassy, it is advisable for you to book a tour designed by Vietnam travel agency and they may arrange you a visa to Vietnam.
