Get Vietnam tourist visa from embassy

Most of foreigners think that the procedure to get a visa at Vietnam Embassy/Consulate is complicated. However, it is only complicated when you apply for Vietnam business visa. In fact, it is quite easy to obtain a Vietnam tourist visa from embassy.

Generally, a Vietnam visa application involves the following documents:

- Visa application form (available on website of embassies)

- Original passport (passport validity must remain longer than visa validity)

- 01 passport photo (taken not more than 01 year ago)

- Vietnam visa fee (visa fees are various from embassy to embassy)

If the embassy accept tourist visa application sent by mail, you need send a long with a prepaid return envelop.

At some Vietnam Embassies, you are required to submit visa approval from Immigration Department obtained by sponsor in Vietnam. In this case, you should contact with the embassy for assistance or book a tour designed by Vietnamese travel agency so that they could arrange you a travel visa to Vietnam. 

Each embassy requires different time to issue your visa Vietnam. Normally, the process will not exceed 5 working days since the date for receipt of visa application. In case of emergency, you can ask for express service to rush up the process.
