-  Visa approval from Immigration Authority or Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam.

-  Vietnam visa fee (paid in Thai Baht)

The processing time takes about 1-4 days depending on normal or express service.

b.   Vietnamese travel agencies

At present, there are plenty of travel agencies providing Vietnam visa on arrival service. This is a new alternative of getting Vietnam visa for those who travel to Vietnam by air only. When you apply online through travel agencies, they will arrange you a visa approval letter from Immigration Department. Then you use the letter to get a visa stamp at Vietnam’s airport.

-  Fill out the application form online

-  Pay visa service fee online

-  Obtain visa approval letter in your email within 2 working days or less

-  Get visa stamp at arrival airport and pick up your visa

Note:

Ensure that your passport validity remains at least 6 months prior to date of entry to Vietnam.

3/ When should you apply

Although the visa process takes only a few days, you are advised to apply for visa for Vietnam at least 2 weeks in advance of your proposed date of arrival.
