Vietnam visa guide for Polish citizens

Vietnam is a friendly and safe place to travel. It entered repeatedly list of world’s best budget travel destinations. More than that, you can find this place as a paradise of street food and home of rich history. If you’re interested in exploring cuisines, history and attractions of Vietnam, don’t forget to acquire a Vietnam visa because Poland doesn’t enjoy Visa Waiver Program.

Although it just takes a couple of days to process, you should plan well in advance of scheduled travel date to ensure no problem will occur at last minute.

Short-term visa: allows Polish visitors to stay in Vietnam from 1 month to 3 months for tourism and business purpose. Vietnam transit visa is valid for 5 days, however, it is only granted to tour groups accompanied by a tour guide and sponsored by a travel agent. If you transit through Vietnam’s airports and not schedule to cross the immigration area, transit visa is not required.

Visa On Arrival

Vietnam offers Visa On Arrival at airports to Polish citizens provided that you have to enter Vietnam by plane and present visa approval letter from Immigration Department. So how to get this letter? Step 1: Provide required information in online application form. If you want to apply on our site, please use this link to fill out the form with your personal information (full name, passport number, date of birth, nationality, gender) and travel information (purpose of the trip, expected travel date, proposed port of entry)

Please take note that your visa will be valid from the expected date of travel you submit in the form, not from the actual date you enter Vietnam.

Step 2: Use credit card or debit card to pay processing fee. Or you can send money via Western Union or bank. Once you paid the application successfully, you will receive an email confirming the status of application and stating the delivery date of visa approval. Normally, it takes 2 working days for standard processing, 1 working day for urgent processing, 4 working hours for super-urgent processing and only 1 hour for ultimate express service. After you obtain the visa approval, it’s important to check your personal information and travel date on the letter. When you find an error, don’t hesitate to inform us immediately. We will request a new visa approval for you. However, if it’s you made mistake in application, you have to pay processing fee for fresh letter of approval. Normally, in this case, we always offer you 10% discount on the second application.

The visa approval works well at all Vietnam’s airports with the same procedure. You can change port of entry anytime without notifying us. Here is the checklist of documents that customs officer wants you to present on arrival:

•  Original passport valid for at least 6 months validity to meet requirements of the airlines. If there is no blank page left on passport, you will be granted a loose-leaf visa instead.
•  Visa approval letter
•  Completed entry-exit form (it is usually sent along with visa approval. You may also download it here)
•  01 passport photo taken within 06 months against white background

After checking your documents, the officer will call your name and request you to pay stamping fee before getting the passport back. Please bear in mind that only cash in US. Dollar or VN dong is accepted so make sure that you well prepared for this case. Here is the stamping rate for each visa type:

•  01 month single and 3 months single: $45
•  01 month multiple: $65
•  03 months multiple: $95

Traditional Vietnam visa

Getting wiza do wietnamv  at embassy is not a favorite option today but it’s helpful in case you enter Vietnam by road or cruise. The procedure is very simple; you submit a paper application to the embassy and come back to collect the visa after 3 working days.

The application forms are available at both office and website of embassy. You can download the form and complete it as requested. In addition to the application form, you have to submit a valid passport, 01 passport photo and visa fees. In some cases, you may be requested supporting documents such as letter of approval, flight booking...

Apply for long-term Vietnam business visa

There is no Visa On Arrival for long-term visa. After we support you obtain the visa approval, you must bring it to embassy, pay $135 stamping fee and collect the visa there. To request a long-term business visa to Vietnam on Poland passport, you need to provide your passport copy to our email support@vietnamvisa-easy.comand let us know your expected travel date and address of Embassy of Vietnam you want to collect the visa after getting letter of approval. After that, we will send you a payment link ($390 for 6 months multiple visa and $590 for 1 year multiple visa) to pay the fee.

The processing time of visa approval is approximately 5-7 business days from the date you submit application and payment. On the delivery date of approval, you will receive it via email as scheduled. Another copy is faxed to Embassy of Vietnam you submitted before to request them to grant you the visa as mentioned on the letter.

Apart from  approval letter and original passport, the embassy/consulate will request you to pay $95 stamping fee (for 6 months multiple entry Vietnam visa) or $135 for 1 year multiple entry visa. The fee should be paid by cash in US. Dollar or local currency. Shortly after you submit the fee, a visa stamp will be placed on your passport .
