Vietnam joined Asia-Pacific Food Fair 2013 in Singapore

Hundreds of thousands of arrivals flocked to Asia-Pacific Food Fair 2013 in Singapore during the time from 21st to 25th November.

At the market, the food lovers had a chance to enjoy delicious traditional dishes of multicultural cuisine of Singapore and get to know various dishes from different countries in the region.

The annual Asia-Pacific Food Fair often takes place in November. This is the biggest food exhibition in Singapore. The market drew the attention and participation of most of food and drink enterprises and manufacturers of Singapore and nations in the same region such as China, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Australia…

Attending the fair is the booth of trade affair-embassy of Vietnam in Singapore with the participation of about 10 businesses working in processing and exporting food, agriculture products and beverage. This is an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to directly communicate with customers and retail distributors, aiming at shaping goods and food for consumers in the future of the market in Singapore and in the region. During 5 days, hundreds of arrivals visited the booth and some businesses actively contacted to survey the possibility of importing Vietnamese good to provide Singapore’s market and others.

Member of the Organizing Board, Mr Steven Ng, highly appreciated Vietnamese products and expressed his hope that there would be more Vietnamese visitors and businesses attending the fair in next year. Representatives of Vietnamese businesses also showed their desire to continue joining the fair and others in Singapore to improve the capability of production and access to the international market, particularly Singapore’s market with the role as a bridge for Vietnamese food to approach other markets worldwide.
