At 26th Korea World Travel Fair (Kotfa 2013) taking place at COEX Exhibition Center from 30 May to 2 June, Vietnam will open a straight route of Seoul-Da Nang since 1 July with frequency of 3 flights/per week aiming to increase Korean tourists to Da Nang in coming time.
Korea is regarded as one of the important markets of Da Nang tourism. Currently, the number of Korean tourists arriving Central Vietnam, particularly Hoi An, Da Nang and Thua Thien-Hue to visit, relax and play golf rapidly increases due to direct flights Da Nang-Seoul of Korean Air and Asian airlines with frequency of 6 flights/per week, estimating 3,000-5,000 passenger travel/per month.
According to Da Nang Culture, Sports and Tourism Department, Da Nang participated this travel fair in order to advertise images and services of city’s tourism to Korean tourists and travel companies, create opportunity to cooperate, exchange and sell participants tourism products and services.
Kotfa is a large-scale world travel fair which is held every year in Korea. There are more than 4000 participants from different 60 nations and regions at this 26th fair.
