The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines launched a series of promotional programmes for the end of 2012, offering special discounts of up to 45% off normal prices on its international flights.
Passengers traveling from now to December 31, 2012 will be offered discounts of up to 42% on fares for return tickets for flights between Ho Chi Minh Cityand some European destinations and with even more substantial discounts to other closer destinations.
Flights departing on the Ho Chi Minh City – Australia route will be offering fares of VND12,600,000 (US$604) per return ticket bought between now and March 31,2013.
The most attractive discounts are being offered to other northeast Asian countries, with trips to RoK city destinations, Seoul and Busan at just VND5,250,000 (US$250) for a return ticket, bought between now and November 20, discounted up to 45% off normal prices.
This programme, announced by Southern Office of Vietnam Airlines, aims to meet the increased travel demand for the end of 2012.
