Located at the Southeast of Binh Dinh province with one side is East sea and another side is spectacular mountains, Quy Nhon city owns a pristine beauty that touches our heart.
Quy Nhon shapes a bow embracing gently the yellow sandy beach. There are a lot of hotels and high-ranking resorts place along the beach. From here, tourists could see rows of green coconut trees swaying in the wind, further is the blue of ocean and sky.
Being about 2 – 3 km from Quy Nhon city, situated in Ghanh Rang tourism site, Queen Beach or Trung Beach features its . it owns a large coastline with round flat stones in various sizes lying on the beach. In front of the beach is natural breakwater of stone statues creating calm waters. The tourists could swim, wander along the beach, build sand castles or pick up the strange-looking stones to offer relatives as a gift.
Next to the beach is Thi Nhan hill, where places the tomb of Han Mac Tu poet .The Thi Nhan hill is quite, immersed in poetic space. Every year, on the 15th of the first lunar month, the hill takes place poetry festival to memorize Han Mac Tu and Yen Lan poets as well as honor poetic talents of the province.
At the foot of Thi Nhan hill situates Quy Phong Leprosy village. This place has hundreds of houses built for Leprosy patients over 80 years ago. Each house has its own individual architecture but all of them feature a simple and peaceful beauty. This could be considered as the most beautiful and unique hospital in the world.
There is also a unique garden in Quy Hoa village with the busts of distinguished physicians arranged side by side under the shallow of casuarinas trees.
One of the not to be missed spot in Quy Nhon is Thi Nai bridge. This is the longest sea-crossing bridge in Vietnam, belonging to road bridge system of Nhon Hoi with about 7 km connecting Quy Nhon city and Phuong Mai peninsula.
Quy Nhon local people often ride to Quy Nhon-Song Cau road to admire the whole view of city.
Quy Nhon by night is not bustling but silent. the tourists could sit in a café shop near the beach and look over the sea. Many people choose to spend time on the beach with collective games such as campfire, or simply enjoy grilled dishes with family at the barbecue party .
It will be regrettable if you travel to Quy Nhon without visiting Cu Lao Xanh. Cu Lao Xanh or also known as Van Phi island is situated near Xuan Dai Bay, about 13 miles from Quy Nhon city to the Southeast.
The tourists could reach Cu Lao Xanh by sitting 2 hours on a boat from Ham Tu cape.
