Don’t miss a visit to Hanoi this January to see the truly ancient beauty of the city at the cultural event “Memory of Hanoi” organized by Hanoi Tourism Department. The event is scheduled to be held for the first time at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long from December 30, 2015 – January 4, 2016, and free for all visitors. There are many arts and entertainment destination on the area of Imperial Citadel and activities taking place such as art decoration, cultural performance.
Images of old Hanoi will be restored at the “Memory of Hanoi” through installation art and exhibition including 11 themes: Old Quarter, old village, Hanoi cuisine, old public transport, antique fair, folk games…
At exhibition space, visitors will see photos of Hanoi taken by various French photographers in different periods. Particularly, many special Hanoi dishes (bun thang, pho, che…) are served right at the food stalls set up in the cuisine area.
