Since 28 June to 03 July, visitors in Da Nang have occasion to partake in interesting activities such as Paragliding Competition, art football, eating and drinking contest.
Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism had a press conference on 13 June to announce the week-long program “Da Nang – Summer Destination 2013” taking place at East Sea Park from 28 June to 03 July.
Accordingly, a collection of attractive activities will be held such as art performance of Korean troupe, International Paragliding Competition, art football festival with participation from 6 Asian countries.
Especially, many interesting cultural and sports activities will be featured for tourists in 6 days of festival such as running and cycling triathlon, swimming competition for sea lovers, eating and drinking contest.
The series of cultural, sports and tourism activities is held to draw local people and visitors coming to Da Nang in this summer. The program is firstly expected to take place in mid-June but must delay due to “Quang Nam Heritage Itinerary” Festival held at the same time from 21 to 26 June.
Travel agencies forecast the number of tourists to Da Nang this year will increase over 20% in comparison with the same period last year./.
