Ho Chi Minh Museum will open at noon

From the 1st September, Ho Chi Minh Museum will open at noon from 8 am to 5 pm weekdays except for Monday and Friday, visiting time lasts from 8 am to 12 noon.

As for large international tour group, the museum will open before and after this duration if being requested in advance.
Thus, instead of opening from 8 am to 11.30 am in the morning and from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm in the afternoon over the past time, Ho Chi Minh Museum will open for visitors at noon from Monday to Friday.

Ho Chi Minh Museum is a dedicated museum and Ho Chi Minh memorial monument. It was built on 31st August 1985 and completed just on 19 May 1990, on the occasion of 100th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday.


Designer of the museum is famous Russian architect Garon Isacovich

The building was built in the shape of white lotus representing simple life of President Ho Chi Minh, expressing the respect and deep gratitude of Vietnamese people to beloved great leader, showing the determination to follow his path.

The main exhibition of Ho Chi Minh Museum expresses 3 contents: biography of Ho Chi Minh since he was a child until he passed away and Vietnamese people’s implementation of his will; introduction of life, struggle, and victory of Vietnamese people under the leadership of President Ho Chi Minh; world historic events (from late 19th century to 20th century) which had strong effect on life as well as career of Ho Chi Minh and Vietnam revolution.
