According to Mr.Trinh Xuan Tung, Head of Travel Management Division of the city’s Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism, after two months of operation, Hanoi Tourist Support Center satisfied requirements, targets set before. The center received many feedbacks, complaints from tourists about main tourist areas in the city.
Mr.Tung said that the Department was going to tighten the association with authorities at some main tourist areas to solve quickly complaints of tourists.
According to Mr.Mai Tien Dung, Vice Director of Hanoi Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism, the Department will set up 24 hour mobile hotline at most of tourism destinations in Hanoi to receive, handle information for tourists. This phone number will be posted at restaurants, hotels and tourist areas for tourists’ convenience.
In addition, customer service counters at Noi Bai International Airport and information counters in Hanoi will have function to receive complaints and feedback from tourists. Several information counters will be set up at other tourist areas.
