The study is made on basis of the cost of a couple staying one night in a four-star hotel, cocktails, a two-course dinner with a bottle of wine, and return taxi fare of 6 kilometers in the city.
According to it, it costs Olso’s visitors the most with total expenses of USD 562.26 for above services. The followers of the list are all European countries such as Zurich, Stockholm, Paris, London, Copenhagen.
Asian cities, meanwhile, ranking the least expensive list. Hanoi, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur are ranking No. 2, No .6 and No. 7 respectively.
According to TripAdvisor, Asia is affordable continent, while Europe is the most expensive. Still, there are some exceptions such as Singapore, Sofia, Warsaw and Budapest. Singapore is Asian country but ranking 14th place of the most expensive cities and Sofia of Europe heads the list of the cheapest cities in the world.
The study is conducted among 49 key cities of nations most visited by travellers according to data compiled by the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO).
