Haiphong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just cooperated with Haiphong Vocational College of Tourism and Services to organize periodical training courses for nearly 60 tour guides of travel companies, tour operators in the city.
In 3 days, experts, mangers, researchers on tourism will teach and exchange contents regarding national and international tourism; Vietnam’s and Haiphong’s socio-economic-tourism development; Strategy on Vietnam’s tourism development until 2030; tourism products and trademark of the country and city. This is the chance for tour guides to exchange, share experience to each other… After the course, trainees have to submit a report and get certificate.
This is one of the conditions for competent agencies to consider granting, changing tour guide card for trainees, contribute to improve quality of human resources, create attraction for tourist destinations in Haiphong./.
