Quang Ninh Department of Finance has announced the actual fare, diffused transport and accommodation services for visitors taking Halong Bay tour.
In details, the fee for transportation service of contract kind increases from VND 250.000 to VND 280.000/hour/ship for standard ships, from VND 280.000 to VND 400.000 /hour/ship for fourth class ships, from VND 400.000 to VND 500.000/hour/ship for third-class ships, from VND 500.000 to VND 600.000/hour/ ship for second class ships.
On the peak days such as Saturday, Sunday, festivals, summer, the fee may increase but not exceeding 30 % over the above price and must be publicly posted on the ship and on the wharf. AS for retail tourists, the fare of return way for the route the wharf-Van Canh Park is VND 100.000 /passenger; the fare for the route the wharf-caves is VND 150.000 /passenger; the route the wharf-Center for Marine Conservation Culture is priced, wharf-Center for Marine Entertainment and the route of wharf-Gia Luan station, each route is fixed VND 300.000/passenger. On peak days like Saturday, Sunday, festivals, summer, the fares do not change.
Concerning the price of accommodation service, the package service of fourth class ship ranges from VND 700.000 to VND 1.2 million/24 hour/passenger; of third class, ship ranges from VND 1.2 million to VND 2 million/ 24 hours /passenger; of second class ship ranges from VND 2 million to VND 3 million/24 hours/passenger; of the first-class ship is about VND 5 million /24 hours/passenger.
For contract service excluding meals and other services of a fourth class ship, the fee is around VND 4 million to VND 6 million/trip.
