People Committee of Lam Dong province has approved the project for upgrading the local transportation system which is scheduled to finish in around 2020 and 2030. 
Specifically, 6 local monorail routes will be opened with the aim of supporting tourists’ demand for travel in Da Lat City.
The main station of the monorail system will be located in the city’s centre to connect Da Lat with nearby scenic spots such as Love Valley, Lien Khuong Airport, Suoi Vang, Tuyen Lam Lake, Tung Lam Junction and Langbiang Highland.
Aside from the new monorail routes, Da La will rebuild the old railroads whose most important route is Da Lat-Cham Temple. The route is 84 km long leading through fantastic mountain passes. Still, depending on the current state, the route serves tourists with 7 km only.
