Explore largest cave in the world

With impressive figures: 9 km long, 200 m wide, 150 m deep, Son Doong cave of Vietnam is really a special attraction to international visitors. However, the most amazing of the largest natural cave in the world is breathtaking beauty that it would blow you away.

Son Doong cave is located in Son Trach commune, Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province


The cave was formed about 2 to 5 million years ago. Since then, it has developed a cave ecosystem with underground river and trees.


In 1991, a local named Ho Khanh discovered Son Doong.

By 2009, a group of explorers from The British Caving Association led by Howard Limbert had more detailed research about the cave


Son Doong overtook Deer cave in Malaysia to become the largest natural cave in the world


The combination between water and limestone in the cave for millions years created strange stunning stalactites


Scientists have said many new and rare animals never appeared elsewhere have been discovered here

The small round beads vivid in Son Doong cave was accidentally formed when mineral water dropping from the ceiling so quickly in process of forming stalagmites.
