Cao Lau, traditional food of Hoi An

There is a big debate on the origin of Cao Lau. While someone say that Cao Lau is the product of Japanese because it has something similar to Ice noodle in Ice Udon, others think that China is the home of it. However, Chinese people in Hoi An do not agree with this idea.

Wherever the Cao Lau comes from, it is still the special symbol of Hoi An and well-known by domestic and international visitors.
