On 31 May, Fansipan Sapa Cable Car Service Company Limited had a report on project on constructing culture-tourism complex in Sapa.
Fansipan Sapa Cable Car Service Company Limited is member of Ba Na Cable Car Service Joint Stock Company which belongs to Sun Group Corporation – contractor of typical buildings in Vietnam such as: Ba Na Hill, Intercontinental Hotel in Da Nang, Novotel Da Nang; The Sun Villas Resort at My Khe beach in Da Nang, Sun City office building in Hanoi, West Lake View senior services.
Sun Group will split the project in 2 phases. The 1st phase is to focus on cable car system and complex of cultural tourism buildings which plans to start in 2013 and completed in 2014; the 2nd phase is to build hotels system and entertainment area.
The project aims to establish a high-grade modern tourism complex in Sapa, create more tourism products for Sapa. Because of the importance of project, Chairman of Lao Cai provincial People’s Committee decided to set up a working group headed by Director of Department of Planning and Investment to assist investor implement procedures, handle difficulties in process of deploying the project.
