In the previous article, we introduced you to 3 street foods to try in Hanoi. Now, we will continue the Vietnamese food adventure in Ho Chi Minh City, the most bustling and modern in Vietnam. Let’s see what dishes will make you crave:

· Bun Bo Hue: The dish is originated from Hue. It is the typical dish featuring Hue cuisine with specific burning flavour. Bun Bo Hue easily allures any customers with sweet flavour from pork broth, spicy taste from chilly, and fragrant smell from lemongrass.

· Banh Khot: This is a very familiar dish of Southern people. it is a savoury coconut fritter topped with either ground pork or shrimp and served with fresh herbs and sauce.

· Bun Thit Nuong: This is a popular and favourite dish in 3 regions but it features distinctive flavour in each region depending on the taste of the North, Central and South. The dish contains a lot of energy for working and studying, thereby it may be eaten for breakfast, lunch or dinner. A Bun Thit Nuong in the South often includes freshly grilled pork, pork spring rolls and sausage served up with vermicelli and fried peanuts served with fish sauce and chilli.

· Banh Canh Ghe: is a kind of ocean crab soup that is very popular in Ho Chi Minh City. There are two variants of Banh Canh Ghe: with whole crab or only crab’s meats; with crab cake or not. The ocean crab soup is tastier and lighter than usual crab.

· Banh Mi Thit: is a very favourite dish in Vietnam that is served as breakfast and a snack. The most common version of Banh Mi features thinly sliced carrots, cucumbers, chilli peppers, coriander, pâté, mayonnaise and various meat fillings. Popular Banh Mi Thit fillings include pork chop, steamed pork belly, Vietnamese ham… The sandwich was served on amazing bread that was crispy on the outside and a nice soft interior.

· Goi Du Du Kho Bo: is also known as green papaya salad with beef jerky. It is really a good snack for you. The ingredients to make a Goi Du Du Kho Bo comprise green papaya, beef jerky, shredded carrots, roasted peanuts, dried beef liver, and Thai basil.
