Vietnam visa on arrival application form

Filling out a Vietnam visa on arrival application form seems to be an easy task but it would cause a lot of troubles for first-time travelers to Vietnam. As you might know, all information you put in the application form will be indicated on the visa. Even a minor mistake can make you be denied entry to Vietnam. There are 2 kinds of information that you are requested to input in the online visa application form: Travel information and personal information.

1. VISA INFORMATION

· Type of visa: Select one from the following types in the drop-down menu: 1-month single, 1-month multiple, 3-month single, 3-month multiple, 6-month multiple (for US citizens only), 1-year multiple (for US citizens only)

· Purpose of visit: Vacation. (Please contact us via email if you require a Vietnam business visa)

· Date of arrival: date/month/year

· Date of exit: date/month/year

· Arrival airport: select any airports from the drop-down menu as the visa approval is accepted at all Vietnamese international airports.

· Kinds of service: Normal or rush service

2. PERSONAL INFORMATION

· Full name: Please write the full name including First name, middle name and last name. If you do not have a middle name, then enter first name, and last name. The name order is not important. 

· Passport number

· Date of birth: month/date/year

· Gender: Male or female

· Nationality

Please keep in mind that the personal information in the form must be exactly shown as in your passport. You don’t need to provide the exact date of arrival but it should be the best-estimated arrival date. The proposed date of arrival you enter in the form will be the start date of your visa validity. You are allowed to enter and exit Vietnam anytime while the visa is valid. 

As of July 2020, the tourist visa holders can stay in Vietnam for only 1 month at a time no matter how long their tourist visa is valid. To stay longer, the visitor must apply for a Vietnam visa extension.

The processing time of a tourist visa is 2-3 working days and a business visa is 3 working days. The best time to start a visa application is 2-4 weeks before your departure
